Reed Finance are working with a leading fresh produce company based in Sittingbourne, committed to delivering the highest quality products to their customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to join their team.

Financial Controller Job Description:

The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting their growth and profitability.

Financial Controller Responsibilities:

• Oversee all company accounts and investments

• Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts

• Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports

• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported

• Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation

Financial Controller Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, or similar role

• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices

• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting

• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software

• An analytical mind with a strategic ability

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

• BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus

• Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
