Description

The Stores Person is a new role within the business and will become a key member of our manufacturing team with a wide range of duties supporting the purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure that stock is correctly received and allocated across the site.

This position reports to the Purchasing Manager.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for goods in ensuring that deliveries are accurately received, checked and recorded on the system.
  • Stock control and allocation of materials.
  • Updating systems with allocations and highlighting material shortages.
  • Supporting month end activity, including stock checks.
  • Stock rotation.
  • Implementing or improving processes and procedures.
  • Assisting with Yard duties unloading and loading deliveries and internal distribution of goods.

Key Skills & Qualifications:


  • Experience of working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
  • MS Office.
  • Work well independently but also as a team.
  • Working in adherence with Health and Safety rules.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Good team player and excellent communicator.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Desirable Skills & Experience:


  • Forklift Licence.

Salary:
£11.12-£13.42 per hour
