    Instructor Technician in Carpentry and Joinery

    £23,223 per annum

    Lancaster and Morecambe College are a thriving FE College and justifiably proud of the strong links with our local community.

    Located between Lancaster and Morecambe, we are proud to be our community's provider of technical, professional and creative education.


    Lancaster and Morecambe College are seeking a carpentry and joinery instructor and maintenance technician to join our Construction and Engineering department, working alongside tutors in our state-of-the-art Construction Centre.

    Your responsibilities will include the instruction of practical sessions to small groups of learners, focusing on practical skills and development, as well as ensuring a healthy and safe environment.


    You should hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in the Carpentry and Joinery and have experience within the general construction industry.

    We will support you over time to achieve an in-house teaching qualification.

    This role provides an ideal opportunity for someone considering a gradual transition from the trade into teaching, passing on skills to a new generation.
