    Your mission:

    • Champion the Screening product area and directly manage 2 Senior PMs
    • Our Screening product teams are responsible for designing and building effective Sanctions, PEP and Adverse Media controls and engines.
    • Work closely with a cross functional first line team including engineers, analyst, compliance experts
    • Represent the team in discussions with senior management, regional teams, 2LOD
    • Own KPIs, risks and issues across the entire domain
    • The team has product development hubs in London and Tallinn
    • The role reports into the Product Lead of Financial Crime
    Qualifications

    What we're looking for:

    • Domain Understanding
      • Strong understanding of sanctions regimes and large scale screening engines
      • Good understanding of agile development practices, working closely with engineering teams
      • Experience with large scale remediation projects
    • Product Management Excellence
      • Product building experience, either as an engineering or product or operations leader in a hands on role
      • Willing to get your hands dirty and build products yourself. Typically will have a background that shows they have a superpower (engineer, designer, analyst, consultant, financial, serial entrepreneur, etc).
      • Have defined and moved KPIs
      • Have built roadmaps for teams finding a path from uncertainty/chaos to clarity
    • Leadership
      • Enthusiasm for the Wise mission is essential - empathy for the problem we are solving and the fire to build something with no precedent
      • Flexible in approach - not stuck to a "by the book" product head role definition.
      • Understands how to grow existing team members as well as hiring and onboarding team members.
      • Responsible for guiding product managers in the past. Usually will have done this in more than one company.
      • Enthusiastic about learning new skills to unblock yourself and your team.
    • Problem Solving
      • Analytically-minded, can clearly frame problems, articulate hypotheses and solutions, measure them and has used the tools to be able to do this without an analyst

    Nice-to-haves:

    • Audit experience
    • VSD & regulatory engagement experience
    • Experience with any large scale third party sanctions screening engine

    Additional Information

    Our Offer

    • Base salary: £115,000 - £180,000 (based on experience & interview outcomes)
