The Role:
As a
Nursery Practitioner, you will contribute to the daily operations, ensuring a stimulating environment for children's learning and development.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure highquality learning experiences through wellplanned play and adaptable initiatives.
- Maintain legal ratios and supervise children during meals, considering allergies and dietary requirements.
- Adhere to task deadlines, attend training, and implement EYFS curriculum.
- Create a stimulating environment, encourage responsibility, and support children's transitions.
- Attend staff meetings, develop partnerships with parents, and stay updated on childcare policies.
- Plan for keychildren, observe achievements, and ensure effective safeguarding procedures.
- Comply with Food Safety regulations and contribute to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the nursery.
- Perform intimate care routines, including nappy changing and first aid support.
- Adherence to company policies, including the Code of Conduct, and flexibility in undertaking requested duties.
Requirements:
- Previously worked as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or in a similar role.
- Relevant experience in early childhood education.
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare
- Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and childcare legislation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
