Becoming aBusiness Analystwith Smart DCC:


Fantastic opportunity to secure an initial 6 months contract as a Business Analyst based in either London or Manchester on a hybrid working model with significant remote working.

The Business Analyst will need to work closely with leads within the programmeand the wider organisation to capture the future vision, develop and document the processes (from a system, data and manual perspective), ensuring they deliver greater efficiencies and controls for the business.


The Business Analyst will be required to facilitate design workshops, proactively seek out information to enable the process generation, work to deadlines and have a keen eye for detail.

The Business Analyst will be proactive in ensuring the process is asefficient as possible and that the e2e journey is robust.


What you'll be doing:

Lead business process workshops to develop end-to-end cross functional business processes, including inputs and outputs for the process
Analysing current process and data, defining revised and new improved processes
Preparation of process flow diagrams from high level processes, down to detailed work instruction level
Processes cognisant of systems, data and manual activity and also definition of control points, SLA's and owners identified
Ensuring process fits into overall e2e DCC process
Support organisational events as required to drive business adoption and ensure our people embrace the change


What we're looking for:


  • Extensive experience in process design engineering, with experience of Finance and Commercial processes desired
  • Proven experience and use of process methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma etc) and associated tools (MS Visio and Sharepoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a multidisciplined team with multiple parties involved
  • Excellent written skills to ensure processes are fully and accurately documented
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experiece
  • Ability to rapidly consume and interpret high volumes of complex data
  • Well organised and able to balance multiple deadlines and priorities as well as being able to work at pace in a pressurised environment
  • Capable of rapidly assimilating complex policy or technical detail and then explaining this clearly to lay audiences
