We are currently recruiting for a
EHS Advisor to join our Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Team. This position is based at our
Wrexham, North Wales site and reports directly to the EHS &OH Manager.

The EHS Advisor will provide advice and guidance to the site on matters related to EHS.

EHS Advisor shall ensure compliance with legislation, Corporate policy and procedure and the requirements of the EHS management system.

  • Devise and deliver training programmes
  • Maintain and ensure Ipsen EHS training database is compliant across site and to engage with both internal departmental managers and external training providers on the upkeep of relevant training deliveries across site
The successful applicant will have strong experience in the following areas:


Ideally:


  • Minimum
    :NEBOSH General certificate
  • Ideally
    working towards NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • At
    least 2 years' demonstrable workplace experience in an EHS advisory capacity.
  • Ideally working towards
    Chartered Member Status of IOSH (CMIOSH)

EHS Advisor will be responsible for providing high level advisory service to the business and stakeholders as well as being the "go to person" and be able to prioritise workloads as and when they arise.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Be able to adapt and respond to a fastpaced EHS environment
  • Provide advice and guidance relating to workplace risk and environmental impact
  • Attend meetings as and when required
  • Modelling good EHS behaviours
  • Leading by example
  • Experience with culture change programs
  • Support the business with ongoing maintenance and improvement to the EHS management system to ensure compliance with legislation, regulation and the site integrated pollution, prevention and control permit (IPPC)
