As a class teacher for a small group of students, you will play a pivotal role in providing additional, targeted support to students who would benefit from the support of a compassionate, dedicated teaching professional.

Your passion for education, coupled with innovative teaching methods and behaviour management strategies, will be crucial for creating a nurturing and motivating learning experience for pupils aged 11-16 who have become disengaged from learning


Key responsibilities:


Planning and delivering a tailored intervention program for pupils with Social, Emotional, Mental Health Needs, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties, SpLD, ALN, ASC and ADHD.

Collaborating with colleagues and school leaders to assess student progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly

Taking a unique, holistic approach to education to re-engage pupils and foster a love for learning

Delivery of comprehensive Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT up to Level 2

Using interactive teaching methods to motivate and inspire

Building positive relationships with students, parents, and fellow educators

Managing Learning Support Assistants and directing them in how best to support pupils


Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS), or equivalent is desirable.

Applicants with PTLLS, Cert Ed and DET/AET are also invited to apply.

Proven experience in delivering effective interventions.

Strong communication and interpersonal experience.

Experience of working in Alternative Provision and/or Special Schools would be beneficial.

Relevant SEND training and Autism Awareness would be beneficial.

A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

What we stand for:_

  • If you have a friend who may be interested in joining us? We offer £75 for every Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant referral and £150 for every Supply Teacher referral (terms and conditions apply)._

Pay:
£110.00-£155.00 per day
