    Job role: Logistics Planner

    Location: Ellesmere Port

    Working hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM

    Salary: £30,000

    My client, a well-established nationwide Waste & Recycling company, is actively seeking to recruit a full-time Logistics Planner to join the team.

    Responsibilities Of The Logistics Planner:

    1. Driver scheduling & route planning
    2. Improving vehicle utilisation
    3. Managing inbound calls and maintaining database
    4. Ensure transport pricing is effective
    5. Booking haulage for outbound and inbound materials
    6. Generating tickets / closing out jobs
    7. Documenting and reporting
    8. Invoicing / raising PO's
    9. Credit Control duties

    The successful Logistics Planner will have the following skills:

    • Logistics and Planning experience
    • Experience in a waste / recycling background ideal
    • Credit control or finance background desirable
    • Strong communication skills
