Toddington Nursery Ltd are currently recruiting for a Potting Team Leader to join their Operations team based in Barnham, West Sussex.

We are a market leading customer focused organisation that supply high-quality plants to the wholesale market based across 4 Nurseries in West Sussex.

We are proud to be part of the Farplants Group who are highly regarded in the industry for their sales and marketing of Horticultural Products.

We are now looking for a Potting Team Leader to join the Operations team.

Reporting directly to the Site Manager your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the potting machine for daily use
• Making sure Health and Safety policies are adhered to
• Oversee the quality of potting
• Complete all admin related tasks related to potting
• Driving efficiencies and meeting daily targets
• Daily routine maintenance of the machinery is completed and recorded
• Ensure all work labour recording and rate information is captured accurately
• To be suitable for the role of Potting Team Leader you should have the following:
• Production line work, supervisory experience preferable
• A forklift licence would be advantageous but not essential as training can be provided
• It is essential you can learn to use machinery.
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Leads by example
• Practical, with a positive cando attitude

On offer is a competitive salary, and a team environment. The nursery operates 7 days a week and therefore weekends will be required, especially in peak season.

Salary dependent on previous experience
