Office Assistant - Halifax, United Kingdom - Jagland Empire LTD
Description
Responsibilities- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks software
- Maintain office supplies and inventory levels
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information or assistance
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist with organizing and coordinating meetings, conferences, and other events
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is preferred
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is a plus
- Knowledge of computerized office systems and procedures
Salary:
From £22,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Halifax: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
