Responsibilities

  • Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, photocopying, scanning, and filing
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks software
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory levels
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information or assistance
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Assist with organizing and coordinating meetings, conferences, and other events
Experience

  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is preferred
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently
  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role is a plus
  • Knowledge of computerized office systems and procedures
As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle various administrative tasks will contribute to the overall efficiency of our team


Salary:
From £22,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Halifax: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
