Are you a Land Manager and looking to steer your career in the direction of working for an independent developer with a portfolio covering private developments and local authority affordable housing projects?

We are delighted to be working in partnership with this successful family-owned house builder as they look to appoint a Land Manager to their team based in Dunfermline.

Having built a solid reputation within the industry for building quality homes in both the private and affordable homebuilding sectors, you will join a well functioning Land team in a varied role that will see you focus on acquiring sufficient land opportunitiesin order for the company to meet its targets, taking these sites forward through the planning and approvals process to the point of purchase.

Key to your role will be work closely with internal stakeholders and develop and maintain effective relationshipswith agents, landowners and property professionals in order to maximise opportunities.

Reporting to the Development Manager, responsibilities of the role include:

To identify, assess, pursue and progress potential land opportunities suitable for the business.
Lead and supervise, where appointed on bid submissions.
Take ownership of legal agreement negotiations on projects.
Manage the land value negotiation process.
Develop relationships with partner organisations to advance scheme progress and explore additional opportunities.
Preparation and production of regular updates and reports as required.
Support with regular updates regarding existing land holdings and proposed future land purchases.
