- Create monthly management accounts for the Board providing incisive commentary on the financial performance of the group companies. Consolidation and multi-currency experience is essential
- Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors
- Prepare annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
- Create monthly invoices – ensure full compliance with tax authorities in a range of countries for sales taxes, withholding taxes and statutory returns
- Manage the Group's cashflows, including chasing invoices for payment from customers worldwide
- Responsible for the update to the new accounting system
- Be responsible for the completing monthly payroll
- Qualified accountant (CA or ACCA) is preferable, but not essential, QBE considered
- SME experience preferred
- Experience in oil and gas is preferable, but not essential
- Excellent computer skills
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
