    Key Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing administration, operational maintenance and feature development of the business critical platforms including, but not limited to; Cost Price Quote (CPQ) platforms Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms Enterprise and Resource Planning (ERP) Platforms
  • Providing first level support, responding to user questions and reported system issues
  • Manage the necessary access rights, security settings and privileges for those platforms you own.
  • Improve and develop new operating processes as required.
  • Provide training for new platform users.
  • Be a point of contact for the raising change requests and system defects by other teams.
  • Align the scope, resource needs and priority for new change requests and defects.
  • Lead the technical rollout of any developments and fixes assigned to you.
  • Own the effective communication of those developments or fixes with all stakeholders, ensuring message content and frequency meets the needs of the business, stakeholders and task objectives.
  • Identify and conduct data-cleansing initiatives to purge corrupt or redundant information from critical platform databases.
  • Liaise with external suppliers or consultants.
  • Provide data mining, analysis and report generation support when requested.
  • Education / Qualifications:

  • Degree educated in an engineering, computer science or mathematic discipline.
  • Professional Skills/ Abilities:

  • Previous systems administrator experience
  • Experience of programming in VB.Net, JavaScript and C-sharp.
  • Experience of working with SQL databases
  • Experience of working with CAD software a plus
  • Strong knowledge of development methodologies such as Agile
  • Project management skills.
  • Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
