- Initial setup of tests in terms of mechanical installation
- Support software and instrumentation setup and maintenance through the test process
- Maintenance of tests under test on the facility, planned interventions, servicing and repairs
- Test program editing
- Maintain the product under test, first stage diagnostics
- Disassemble and build of product
- General facility support
- Other duties as deemed reasonable
- Intermediate mechanical fitting skills
- Basic knowledge of fuel injection system functionality
- Basic Instrumentation set-up/operational skills
- Basic data acquisition skills
- Intermediate computer (MS office) skills
- Basic test equipment programming – examples: (AVL Puma/National Instruments/editing skills)
- Basic engine function understanding
- Either or both: Basic rig function understanding/Basic engine test bed understanding
- Good Communication skills
- Basic RISK assessment skills
