£28,000 to £30,000 per annum

Our client is a leading logistics and warehousing company with a strong presence in Crawley. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility in Crawley.

Your strong leadership skills and warehouse expertise will contribute to the smooth functioning of the warehouse, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

Supervise the unloading and loading of vehicles to ensure timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing goods.
Provide support in the order picking process to meet customer demands and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Manage and process bookings efficiently, coordinating with the relevant teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Assist in the daytoday running of the warehouse, overseeing cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to safety protocols.
Lead and motivate a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a productive and harmonious working environment.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and collaborate with the inventory team to address discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
Implement quality control measures to uphold high standards and ensure accurate order fulfilment.
Enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse, conducting regular safety audits, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among the team.
Working closely with the warehouse/transport manager in assisting with daily tasks.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role or similar.
Valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance licences.
Willingness to adapt to new technologies and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
