- Attend breakdowns on site with a rapid response whilst ensuring plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimised.
- Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance across the factory effectively and efficiently, either alone or as part of a team.
- Communicate unscheduled downtime to Engineering Supervisor and Production Managers and the corrective actions and root cause if identified.
- Identification of improvements that can be made to production lines or individual machinery or other operations.
- Ensure all health and safety and other business guidelines are followed.
- Qualified, multi-skilled engineer
- Proven experience within a food production/manufacturing environment is essential.
- Exposure to metal detectors, conveyors, weighers, and baggers would be beneficial.
- Health and Safety / Basic Hygiene trained.
- Have a proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement, and personal development.
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings / manuals.
- Good interpersonal skills

Dayshift/Backshift rotation Monday to Friday 07: and Monday to Friday 12:
Salary:
£40k - £45K DOE
Job Purpose:
To maintain a wide range of production equipment as well as general maintenance and installation of new equipment.
