- The successful candidate should be degree qualified in either a mechanical, electrical or control systems engineering or related discipline.
- Application of technical knowledge and experience to provide innovative engineering solutions to meet a variety of customer requirements
- Use of and proficient in appropriate software related to your engineering background
- Support Senior technical staff in complex development and test activities
- Support FMEA reviews
- Prepare test plans and specifications
- Specify test rig requirements including instrumentation and fixture tooling
- Plan and co-ordinate suppliers and external testing
- Specify and prepare data logging equipment, instrumentation and wiring requirements
- Supervise technicians with build, test and measurement procedures and supporting documentation
- Calibrate instrumentation
- Conduct and provide instructions for testing
- Running the rigs and test execution
- Generate test results, analyse data and compile test reports
- Present and communicate technical and commercial information, clearly and concisely, both internally and to customers
- Take an active role in the continuous improvement initiatives within the development and test function
- Where appropriate, undertake a Project Lead role, leading a small project team to deliver a successful project outcome from both a technical and commercial perspective
