- Scrub Procedures: Perform scrub duties for a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions, maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Instrumentation and Equipment: Competently handle and manage surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and maintenance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all aspects of the surgical process in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Adherence to Policies: Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Professional Development: Stay abreast of advancements in surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
- Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Scrub Nurse in a hospital setting.
- Advanced knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Flexibility to work in ad hoc and long-term positions.
