A
Qualified or nearly qualified Management Accountant is required for a global manufacturing business based in the Bournemouth area. You must have experience of working within a manufacturing environment and ERP systems. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will have responsibility for:

Preparing and analysing month-end management reports; reviewing for accuracy or omissions, reporting findings to management and highlight variances.
Performing adhoc reporting and studies as required including leading or assisting in the completion of cost volumes for proposals.
Assisting in documenting and updating accounting policies and procedures. Analysing processes and procedures to expose any information useful in improving operating efficiencies.
Processing and maintaining general ledger, profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements Developing plans including budgets and forecasts.

- 'Owner' of MIS system, maintaining data cubes and creating complex reports

Support internal, external and government audit requirements.
Undertaking technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathering, analysing and preparing recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.

Experience:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA qualified
Proven work experience in a Management or Cost Accountant position in a manufacturing environment
Strong ERP experience and Advanced MS Office skills including Excel
Good communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels in the business
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
