Assistant Financial Controller - Poole, United Kingdom - Bond Williams
Description
An Assistant Financial Controller is required for expanding business in Poole. The role would suit a Finance Manager in a smaller business looking for a wider role to move into.My client is interested in either a Finalist, Newly Qualified or 2-3 Years postqualified and ideally from a corporate background with demonstrable staff management experience as you will manage a team of 6.
YouMUST have multi country and multi-currency experience and ideally have worked within an IT/software or technical sector.
Key duties and tasks:
- Staff management of finance team, including 121's, annual reviews, and performance plans
- Identify and carry out training of finance team in line with objectives
- To provide cover in absence of Financial Controller
- Assisting and resolving complex transactional issues
- Review and approve global payrolls
- Weekly ledger reviews with team owner
- Monthly BS reviews with accounts team
- Ownership of month end close process
- Review and submission of management account pack to Group Financial Controller
- Continuous process and policy improvements
- Engaging in company IT project implementations
- Business partner with other departments on linked processes
