- Michigan K-5 Teaching Certification.
- Must be highly qualified

- Ability to demonstrate and communicate a strong knowledge base of the content for 3, 4 and 5 year old students.
- Have the ability to demonstrate and communicate a strong knowledge of effective pedagogy that aligns with the Montessori program. (The Okemos Public Schools will train the selected candidate if they have not had been trained.)
- Ability to communicate and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and professionally with our faculty and administrative colleagues.

Qualifications :
Responsibilities:
● Facilitate learning for 3, 4 and 5 year old students.
● Create learning plans for all students that ensure grade-level learning is taking place.
● Monitor progress for all students' learning and developmental goals.
● Facilitate Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports for the students in the classroom.
● Participate in professional development.
● Engage with parents, families, and community members.
