Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive for our client based in Braintree on a permanent basis.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Proactively develop customer relationships across multiple levels for new sources of computing, enterprise and mobility products with attached services that drive revenue and margin targets
  • Manage existing customer relationships that may be assigned
  • Work effectively with a cross functional team to manage inventory turns, pricing and sales velocity
  • Collaborate with team members to manage accounts and create sales opportunities
  • Construct sales offerings based on company's available services catalogue including RFI, and RFP responses
  • Sales forecasting and quota attainment
  • Report sales opportunities regularly in a sales pipeline report
  • Maintain accurate monthly, and quarterly subscriber and revenue forecasts
  • Maintain strong ties with Operations, IT, Sales Engineering, Accounting, and Legal teams in support of your customers
  • Interact with Finance & Operations to ensure compliance with financial obligations, which include Letters of Credit, Accounts Payable and credits
  • Continuously update knowledge of technology including wireless Internet of Things products, services, industry trends, and the competitive dynamics of the marketplace
  • Act in accordance with information quality control, health, and safety and, security policies and procedures.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience:


  • Technical knowledge in common enterprise, networking and computing products and parts advantageous
  • Proven track record of successful channel sales experience preferred
  • Ability to build effective and constructive relationships across multiple customers and opportunities
  • Good understanding of IT equipment with a genuine interest in IT
  • Negotiating and influencing skills applied across the various supplier and sales opportunities
  • Ability to work comfortably with all levels of management, employees, and in virtual teams across supply chain, customers, and company groupwide
  • Managing customer expectations with ability to work collaboratively and under pressure
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams & Powerpoint
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.


In return our client offers £28,000 - £30,000 per annum & OTE package, with 28 days annual leave increasing by 1 day each year with length of service, company pension scheme, access to pool table, football table, shuffleboard and arcade games on your break,free parking and Summer BBQ's & corporate events.
