    The Role:

    As our new Key Account Manager you'll work to increase our customer base, boost sales and enhance profitability of the site temp offering across one of three regional areas within the UK.

    You'll drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalising on opportunities, building upon existing Key Accounts, and implementing sales strategies that are aligned with our company's goals. You'll also work to improve customer satisfaction and ensure the highest standards of service delivery are essential to achieving long-term success.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalising on opportunities, building on existing relationships with clients, and implementing sales strategies that are aligned with the company's goals. You'll be joining at a pivotal point in our journey where we are resetting our strategy to drive further growth and develop business across all aspects of Site Temp in both Electrical and Mechanical.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Continue to Drive the sales and profitability of a Region of Site Temp and Support in the development of Internal Account Manager in existing and new accounts & have more "ownership" of the Site Temp AOP as a whole, tracking the sector margin alongside your own.
  • Use market intelligence, competitor analysis, and industry trends to find growth opportunities in locations and products, making CPS a disruptor in the 'Site Temp' sector; increase influence on branch teams for category growth; be a primary source of guidance for internal and external sales teams and make executive decisions.
  • Identify, build and maintain strong customer relationships to grow the new sector within the group, and work alongside the sales team to unlock site temp opportunities across the existing customer base. Build customer strategy across existing and new customer bases.
  • Collaborate with colleagues at the target branch to boost awareness and engagement in 'Site Temp', emphasising the importance of meeting customer expectations and highlighting the overall benefit to P&H business; attend regional meetings to advocate for site temp and assist branch teams in seizing sales and margin opportunities.
  • Monitor market 'Site Temp' trends and feedback innovations/trends to the sector lead and commercial teams to influence the development of the 'Site Temp' range.
  • Attend monthly Site-Temp management meetings to provide updates and support on the progress of the 'Site Temp' market and growth plans. Oversee key initiatives to develop the site temp proposition.
  • Proactively manages personal development. Continually assesses performance and evaluates ways to improve. Seeks advice and feedback.
  • Manage the internal account managers to ensure performance is in line with expectation and drive growth in all KIPs.
    This is a regional-based opportunity where you'll be expected to travel and meet with customers and suppliers.

    You should be based in the UK and we're looking to recruit Key Account Managers from London, the South, Birmingham or the North.

    Skills and competencies
  • Previous Sales and Account Managegment experience ideally gained from within either a merchant/wholesale/construction industry.
  • Exposure to resolving queries end to end process, and focussing on solutions and transparency of communication.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strategic and able to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent industry-wide knowledge of Electrical products.
