Description

Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a
Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client to join their team in
Lutterworth.


IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE.....

Hours of work:


  • 5 shifts over 7 nights.
  • Start time vary between 1700 & 2200.
  • Shifts lengths between 10 & 12 hours.

Salary:

- £18.00ph-£20.00ph (Rate is Inclusive of holiday pay).
-
LTD drivers also accepted.


The Role:


  • HGV 1 night trunking nationwide.
  • RDC deliveries and collections.
  • Up to 3 trunks per night depending on distance.

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
  • Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
  • To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
  • To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.

Essential Skills:


  • Hold a valid
    HGV 1 / Cat CE licence.
  • Driver qualification (CPC) card.
  • Digital tacho card.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good customer relations.
  • Have a safe driving record.
  • No more than 6 minor penalty points. (Due to insurance stipulations).
  • No DR's, IN's or DD's offence codes. (Due to insurance stipulations).
