NEW TO CARE? Have you ever considered a career in care but need knowledge and experience to achieve it? You may have heard a role in care as a caregiver, carer or care assistant.

At Cornwall Care, our entry-level position is Healthcare Assistant.

However, there is no need to worry about experience or qualifications, Cornwall Care will provide full support and training to ensure that anyone who is new to our care industry is fully prepared to work in such a rewarding role.

With the support of your very own "buddy" we will help you to achieve your Care Certificate, which is the agreed set of standards that define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors A career in care will primarily see you assisting our elderly or disabled clients with practical things they may not be able to manage themselves.

These tasks are varied, but ultimately, will always follow the individual needs of our wonderful clients.

The most important thing is that you are an individual who is compassionate, caring and has a genuine interest in providing comfort, support and practical assistance for others.
