    North Berwick High School, located in the coastal town of North Berwick, received an outstanding HMIE inspection report in June 2020. The school, with a current roll of 1060 students, has recently undergone expansion to enhance its facilities and educational spaces.     The Pupil Support faculty comprises a Principal Teacher of Pupil Support (Learning), a Principal Teacher of Pupil Support (Inclusion), 4 Principal Teachers of Guidance, and 3 Teachers of Learning Support. Additionally, there is a Pupil Support Worker and a team of ASN Auxiliaries. This role includes overseeing 3 Teachers of Learning Support, teaching Fresh start to identified pupils, and leading assessment processes for prelim diets and SQA exams.

    Job Details

    As a member of the school's management team, the Principal Teacher is responsible, subject to school policies and East Lothian Council regulations, for tasks delegated by the Head Teacher/Depute Head Teacher, with consideration for the overall workload of classroom teachers.
