Your New Role
In this role you will be carrying out a range of warehouse duties to effectively manage the receipt, storage, selection, packaging, loading and shipping of products to customers and service stations.
You will be also leading, as necessary, the work allocation for a team of warehouse colleagues, ensuring processes and standards are met.
These processes are at the heart of the customer fulfilment and are focused on delivering at pace, whilst maintaining a safe working environmentWhat You Can Expect from the Role
- Lead work allocation for a team responsible for warehouse duties, ensuring the completion of various tasks.
- Ensure proper storage and recording of all goods and supplies following established procedures.
- Provide operational support by overseeing stock receipt, storage, selection, packaging, loading, and shipping activities to meet warehouse workload requirements.
- Prioritize highpriority tasks to maintain accuracy, regulatory compliance, and a safe working environment.
- Monitor invoicing to ensure timely payment and equipment retrieval from customers upon project completion or servicing needs.
- Complete picking and packing tasks according to Survitec standards.
- Develop an understanding of packaging requirements and recommend improvements.
- Manage inventory within the warehouse, following Survitec procedures.
- Identify and escalate issues and discrepancies as necessary.
- Ensure the team understands Survitec procedures and encourage reporting when deviations occur.
- Design a monthly schedule and assign tasks to meet the demands of a fastpaced warehouse process.
- Prioritize work to ensure critical tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain accuracy, perform regulatory checks, and ensure a safe working environment throughout.
- Conduct various inventory control management activities following existing procedures.
- Adhere to Survitec health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions.
- Identify and mitigate risks, safeguarding the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
- Prioritize personal workflow and ensure the team's work meets productivity, quality, and pace standards.
- Use performance management systems to enhance team performance.
- Develop knowledge of Survitec policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct.
- Ensure adherence to these standards in daily work.
- Seek authorization from a manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedures.
- Provide onthejob process, standards, and safety training to all frontline warehouse operatives.
The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
Essential Criteria:
- Educated to High School / Further Education College (2 A Levels or equivalent)
- Valid Full UK driving license
- Experienced in working in a warehouse environment.
- Can work our SOP and KPI
