Description

Our client is an Engineering company based in the Prescot, Liverpool area and they require an experienced Manual Turner to join them on a permanent basis.

You must be a time served Manual Turner with experience of measuring old parts and creating new turned parts to high tolerance.

You should be able to taper, screw thread cut and have good experience of limits and fits for bearings. Most of the parts you manufacture will be from electric motors, pumps and gearboxes.

The role is mainly in the workshop but sometimes you will go to various sites in the area to measure up parts for production lines.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 3 pm.

The hourly rate is negotiable between £ £17.05 per hour with regular overtime.

This is a permanent role with good company benefits, holiday entitlement, regular overtime, call out bonus etc.
