This prestigious Magic Circle firm are seeking an experienced senior patent litigator. The firm have a strong reputation in this field and have and the team is led by a renowned litigation heavyweight who is an expert in life sciences litigation.
This practice is going through an exciting expansion phase and the partner is looking for a bright senior IP lawyer to assist with this growth strategy. The work on offer is very technical and intellectually stimulating. The successful candidate will litigate on all areas of patent litigation, from pharmaceuticals to biotechnology, as well as regulatory issues. They act on some of the most high-profile pharmaceutical and technology cases and have well respected patent litigation teams in the main European jurisdictions. In addition to advising on the most high profile and complex cases in this sector, the candidate will also work closely with other jurisdictions to co-ordinate a global strategy for clients.
The firm are seeking a candidate who is entrepreneurial, able to immerse themselves in potentially unfamiliar and technical areas of work, especially if they do not have a scientific academic background. It is also essential that the candidate be willing to take on more responsibility, as you will be supervising more junior associates as well as helping with the strategy. Excellent long term prospects for progression withing the team and practice. N.B. A lifesciences background, whilst advantageous is not essential for consideration. A track record of achievement at a well regarded firm is essential.
