Salary:
£52,084 - £57344 (Commensurate with skills and experience)

What you'll be doing:
- Support the service design for a strategically important 3
- year change programme, the achievement of which directly impacts the £6.2bn support IBP (63% of total Air IBP) _and also _impacts the delivery of contracted support outputs to our customers.
- Define and develop service design capability, particularly focusing on People (SQEP pipeline), Process and Toolset. Recognise that the sum of services forms the customer operational and support solution.
- Work crossfunctionally, recognising that services are not limited to Engineering.
- Establish a stakeholder network that spans functions, contracts, and Lines of Business to enable effective design and implementation of the TLES capability.
- Deploy this capability on current and future Air projects, where BAES is providing a service (typically aircraft availability)
- Manage own workload to ensure task delivery to agreed programme, planned cost & to a high quality.
- Support the governance and assurance activities that will maintain the BAE Systems 'franchise' approach for how we 'do' Support & Services service design. This includes respecting Product governance, as defined for Engineering, where the service will ultimately be tailored to a customer and hence fall under an extant Product Technical Authority (PTA) within the Lines of Business
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- STEM Degree, HND or equivalent and demonstrable experience in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Experience of working in a collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of Dynamic simulation, life cycle cost analysis, Support solution design and modelling
- Experience of Through Life / Platform availability service drivers (i.e., LSAR, Maintenance Planning & Execution, Supply Chain Planning, Information architectures etc.)
- Knowledge of the Engineering Lifecycle, applicable to services and platforms, and their interaction at a system of systems level
