    Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Technical Lead to join our IT function on a permanent basis.

    You will manage an impactful team whose key priority is to build software and customer experiences that drive, shape and deliver our customer-centric digital transformation.

    This is a hands on role in which you will be leading from the front with expert technical knowledge in Java and product development.


    What you will do:


    Technical Lead for the squad, ensuring collaborative working with Product Owners, Developers, QA's, change leads and Architects to design and build out our EIS functionalityBe well versed in Java software DevelopmentBe a line manager (small team of 3-5 engineers)Have expert hands on software development in Java and ensure technical standards are met throughout the team.

    Working with the product owner to ensure the squad has a clear mission, balanced backlog and agile practicesWorking with Architects and Principal Engineer on tech choices and architecture evolutionImproving the engineering practices in the squad including code quality, testing and CI/CDBe a part of esure's engineering community.
