As a member of the Law and

Corporate Governance Senior Management Team:
Contribute significantly to decisions affecting Legal Services including assisting in developing and implementing future strategy
Project manage, as appropriate, major tasks on behalf of Legal Services
Assist in meeting the strategic objectives of Legal Services. Including legal advice and assistance to the Council, Members and Chief Officers, including the Chief Executive as required. Draft reports to the Council, Mayor and Cabinet, Committees and Sub-Committees, as required, whether in respect of the management policies of Legal Services, legal or procedural requirements of the Council, or generally

Scrutinise reports drafted by staff in other directorates, ensuring that they are robust and preparing legal implications paragraphs as appropriate.
