    Responsibilities / Duties:

    · Liaise with Underwriters, Brokers and senior management to ensure that overdue premium is collected in timely manner.

    · Liaise with operations and outsourced service providers to ensure the accurate processing of premium.

    · Oversee the responses to the query feedback report produced by outsourced service provider.

    · Manage the premium escalation process, including the issuance of NOC ' s, with the outsourced service provider.

    · Support, and deputise for, the Finance Operations AVP with month end reporting deliverables covering Accounts Receivables, FAC RI Recoveries, Unmatched signings, and risk capture queries.

    · Maintain cash books and process premium and claim payments and monitor settled direct transactions in the workflow system (Salesforce).

    · Ensure compliance with established SOX procedures.

    · Assist the Finance Operations AVP in projects and initiative.

    Qualifications

    · Background in credit control / credit management desirable

    · Previous experience working in the insurance environment an advantage.

    · Good communication and interpersonal skills

    · Ability to meet weekly and monthly reporting deadlines.

    · Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively and work under pressure.

    · Desire to look for opportunities to deliver process efficiencies to support the drive for a scalable function.

    · Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft products coupled with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
