    Step Resourcing are recruiting for a HR Manager in the Education Sector

    Our client is a leading provider of additional Education Tuition across England and Internationally. They are based in Kent and currently have two offices one in Chatham and one in Sittingbourne are looking for a HR Manager based in either office. Currently they have around 70 workers in the company.

    Duties will include:

    • Management and maintenance of HR administrative functions
    • Development and implementation of HR Strategy
    • Policy maintenance
    • Management of change projects
    • Provision of advisory to management Team on all HR related matters and initiatives
    • Succession planning. Organisational leadership design and implementation
    • Preparation and roll out of personnel file data collection
    • Team management
    • Development and implementation of end-to-end Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding process for employees. Manual sourcing of candidates
    • Background checks/DBS
    • Preparation of contracts, New Starter's Packs
    • Induction for New Employees
    • Full overhaul and file audit process with external HR
    • Management of Investigation, Grievance & Disciplinary Matters
    • Management of the probation process
    • Management of the termination process
    • Organisation Training & Development
    • Development & implementation of performance management / reward systems
    • Management of Payroll administration and disbursement of salary for Africa HC and dealing with all employee payroll queries
    • Processing of monthly timesheets
    • Liaising with employees/line managers/front desk in relation to any amendments to employee details
    • Dealing with all starters set up and leaving details
    • Briefing and support of Foreign Employees

    Skills & Experience:

    • Relevant HR Qualification. CIPD Level 3 or 5 Preferred
    • 5 years' experience working in a similar HR type role
    • Excellent knowledge of UK Employment legislation
    • Previous Payroll Experience
    • Leadership and team management
    • The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally to all levels of business
    • The ability to deal with people and address conflicts when required
    • Strong organisational and time management skills

    Salary Package:

    • Competitive salary from £24,000
    • 28 days annual leave (including public holidays)
