- Travel to residential and commercial properties to conduct roof inspections using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs/Drone)
- Meet and maintain the FAA qualification requirements
- Work closely with sales team to plan and optimize travel routes ahead of time
- Capture aerial footage and images and upload data to database
- Document all activity in database with a high degree of accuracy and correctness
- Develop rapport and build relationships with potential customers
- Monitor weather conditions and airspace restrictions to ensure safe operations
- Attend department meetings, keep current on sales information, products and industry trends
- Source new sales opportunities Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Current FAA pilot certificate
- At least 4+ years experience as a drone pilot
- Photography skills is a plus
- Understanding of technical terms commonly used in the roofing is a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to walk long distances, climb stairs, stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs. or greater
- Good communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- Team player (member of a sales crew)
- Familiarity with tablets, Apple iPads (iPadOS)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

The ideal candidate is tech savvy and has experience operating a drone while capturing images as directed for detecting roof damage and measurements.
