Contentious Financial Services Regulatory Lawyer (Associate - Senior Associate), Bristol:

Vasto Legal Recruitment are working exclusively with a highly regarded law firm based in Bristol on an opportunity for a Litigation Lawyer to join this reputable and growing Financial Services Litigation team. We are looking for good litigation experience and technical knowledge, specific contentious regulatory experience isn't necessary but an interest in this area is important.

If you are a Lawyer with 3+ years post-qualified experience in a range of commercial / FS / Banking litigation then we would be interested in speaking with you and discussing the opportunity.

The Opportunity:

At present, this is a small and growing team that offers a Senior Lawyer a rare opportunity to work directly with established and highly reputable Partners with backgrounds from top City firms. This is a rare opportunity for a Bristol-based Lawyer to work on Top London City quality work.

The work will include a range of contentious regulatory matters for financial services clients, banks, and other organisations in a regulated environment. This often includes advising on investigations by the PRA, FCA, Ofgem and more. This is top-quality work for an esteemed client base.

Requirements:

We require an individual with strong and high-quality litigation experience (ideally 3+ years post-qualified) and any experience within the banking / financial services sector would be of benefit. The growing team are open to considering an individual with more general commercial litigation experience who is interested in the contentious regulatory specialism, using their translatable experience with full training/upskilling offered.

Aside from the litigation experience, the character traits of any Lawyer joining the team are highly important. The team are looking for a motivated and commercially-minded individual - a Lawyer with the ambition to progress, with high-quality work experience, and someone interested in working closely with the Partners to support this ambition.

Salary - £65k-£95k (depending on level of PQE and experience) + excellent bonus + excellent benefits
