An exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and innovative senior leader to join us for 12 months in a secondment or fixed term role to fill the post of Associate Director of Workforce.


The Associate Director of Workforce has overall responsibility for the strategic and operational running of service areas within Workforce Resourcing.

This includes overall leadership and management of the services, processes & policies, systems, associated SLAs & KPIs and day to day management of the HR & OD budgets.


Working with the Dual Chief People Officer and the Deputy Director of HR & OD, the Associate Director of Workforce will lead on developing policy for, and implementation and delivery of systems improvement across the HR & OD.

This will impact on all strategic change initiatives and will ensure the alignment of the Trust strategy and policy with the NHS People Plan, the NHS Long Term Plan and national/regional priorities.
