    Early Years Educator - Babies & Pre-School (Part-Time)

    Our client, a leading private day nursery in Horsforth, Leeds, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join their team, working across both the Babies and Pre-School Rooms.

    About Our Client:

    Our client is a unique nursery that provides an exceptional learning environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. They believe in the power of outdoor play and nature, and their curriculum is inspired by Scandinavian Forest School philosophies. Their idyllic setting includes a nature reserve, yurt, outdoor classroom, and nearby woodland, offering endless opportunities for exploration and discovery.

    About the Role:

    As an Early Years Educator working across the Babies and Pre-School Rooms, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children of varying ages. You will be responsible for:

    • Creating a calm and loving atmosphere for babies, catering to their needs.
    • Providing sensitive care and support for babies, including nappy changing, feeding, and sleep routines.
    • Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development in both babies and pre-schoolers.
    • Observing and assessing children's progress in both rooms, documenting their development and maintaining accurate records.
    • Building strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
    • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of both rooms.

    Requirements

    Requirements:

    • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
    • Experience working with babies and young children.
    • Strong understanding of child development across different age groups.
    • Patient, nurturing, and energetic individual with excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to manage a group of children of varying ages, creating a safe and stimulating environment for all.
    • Highly observant and able to identify individual needs and milestones in both babies and pre-schoolers.
    • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

  • Requirements
    Lead and inspire a team of dedicated childcare professionals to deliver outstanding care and education to children. Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and external stakeholders. Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards, maintaining high levels of quality and safety. Drive business growth and development through effective marketing, recruitment, and retention strategies. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower staff. Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Passionate about early years education and committed to providing the best possible care for children.
