Our division helps the Bank to make the best use of data and analytics.
Pretty much everything the Bank does depends critically on the use of data and analytics, and the Bank has made our work a strategic priority.
We have support from the Governor down and across the Bank.As part of our team, you will contribute to outcomes of national importance today, while preparing the Bank to face the challenges of tomorrow.

Job description
You will do this by partnering with data leaders embedded in the Bank as part of a new central team called D&A Partners.
The team will translate and connect between business teams' aspirations and needs, and the support offered by central D&A service teams.
To achieve this, you will build strong trusted advisor relationships with the people and teams they support.
Day to day you will consult, advise and co-ordinate on the enablement of better use of data and analytics in the Bank, including through guidance and participation in projects and change initiatives.
You will support in formulating opportunities to improve use of data and analytics looking beyond current practices and embracing new ideas and opportunities to "explore the art of the possible".
By joining the team at its inception, you will have a unique opportunity to shape and establish the team's culture and service.
You will advise, coach and mentor more junior colleagues (Data and Analytics Consultants) on undertaking and supporting similar kinds of activities.
There may be line management of a small number of direct reports as the team grows. This will be confirmed as the team is formed.Role Requirements
Minimum criteria
To successfully deliver in this role you will need to demonstrate, from your experience, the ability to:
- Build strong trust relationships with people across reporting boundaries, regardless of seniority
- Envision how data and analytics could help people and teams achieve their outcomes
- Inspire and persuade people across the organisation, and at all levels of seniority, as to how data and analytics could help them achieve their outcomes
- Elicit other people's aspirations and needs and articulate these in terms that they recognise
- Overcome barriers to delivery in order to support the business area you partner with, using creative problemsolving skills
- Translate business needs into data and analytics needs
- Translate data and analytics capability improvements into business opportunities
To do this you will also need to demonstrate you can:
- Lead and manage people, including the ability to tangibly improve organisational culture to drive better diversity and inclusion outcomes
- Learn and improve your own performance through experience, selfreflection, and feedback from others
- Work in a proactive, selfsufficient manner. Shaping your own working agenda with guidance from your line manager and working collaboratively with colleagues
Desirable Criteria
You can demonstrate, from your experience, the ability to:
- Build productive and sustainable partnerships with business, technology, and other central support teams
- Build the capability of other teams to use data and analytics
- Manage products, and especially data products or analytics/insights
