- Develop initial client concepts into workable solutions and manage detailed design tasks to client stage and approval specifications
- Attend site visits and liaise directly with clients to identify exact requirements
- Produce detailed designs in accordance with ISO standards using 2D / 3D design packages
- Check/Approve design packages produced by other designers
- Present designs at internal review meetings and external client review meetings
- Develop, maintain and be responsible for design risk assessments in accordance with statutory obligations and company policy
- Proficient in 2D and 3D modelling
- Minimum 2 years previous design experience ideally within a mechanical engineering or construction environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders
- Ability to generate bill of materials
- Ability to provide instructions regarding manufacture of products or services
- Possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to reflect this in the design flow
- Flexible to travel to site

Design Engineer
Energis is currently recruiting for a Design Engineer for our manufacturing client based near Bangor.
Using both 2D and 3D, the successful Design Engineer will produce specific engineering design deliverables for a range of multi-disciplinary projects. You will be involved in the project from initial scope development, through detailed design and installation. Applications are invited from both junior candidates and those at Senior / Lead Design Engineer level.
