Now Education are working with a secondary school in Lewisham, who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join them on a contractual basis.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth running of the school by ensuring that students are engaged in meaningful learning activities in the absence of their regular teachers. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Delivering pre-prepared lessons as a cover supervisor to students across different year groups and subjects.
2. Managing the classroom environment and promoting positive behaviour.
3. Providing guidance and support to students to help them stay on task.
4. Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and progress.
5. Collaborating with teaching staff and other cover supervisors to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
6. Assisting with the supervision of students during break times and other non-teaching periods.

Requirements for Cover Supervisor role:

To be considered for this position in Lewisham, you should meet the following criteria:

1. Prior experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
