We at Parker Smith Inclusion are an ethical and specialist SEN recruitment consultancy working with schools based in the North west, Hillingdon, Ealing area.

looking for an unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school dedicated to supporting children/young people with SEN. They are not looking for people with experience but a passion for wanting to support and help people.


The students that you will be supporting as an unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant -


Working as an unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a school that supports pupils who have Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties, and these students find it harder to do things independently, so you will need to support them with some areas of their life, such as eating, washing or personal care.

The unqualified SEN. The teaching Assistant will come across pupils that will need 1:1 support.

In this role, you will be required to support these children that need the 1:1 support; these children will be a lot less mobile and need help doing daily tasks.

You may also experience physical and behavioural challenges that are associated with the children's needs.

You will experience children that have hearing impairments and speech and language communication needs (children who are non-verbal) and will come across alternative ways to communicate with them, such as sign language, Makaton and more.

  • As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced professionals such as SEN Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Physiotherapists
