    Job Description

    This is a great role for a results-focused Account Director who is looking to join an exciting, new account, with a focus on creative-production and adaptation.

    Working closely with our agency partners, internal teams and client, the Account Director will deliver an exceptional level of service, driving innovative production solutions and delivering premium content across ATL channels.

    This role requires a strong understanding of end-to-end production processes, particularly post-production through to adaptation and fulfillment across all media.

    The Account Director will be responsible for the growth and maintenance of key agency and client relationships, working closely with internal and external teams to drive a collaborative and efficient content production process.

    This role requires someone who has a strong background in end-to-end production management, with particular experience in TV, Social, Digital, OOH and Press. POS experience is also preferred.

    A key requirement of this role is to deliver premium, creatively consistent content across all media, with a focus on applying intelligent production solutions up-stream to drive down content duplication and waste, therefore an understanding of all-media production operations and up-stream agency partnerships is critical.

    This role requires someone who can think strategically, build strong relationships with clients, work well with colleagues across the business, establish connected, efficient ways of working, who understands how to drive a profitable business, and who has strong man management skills.

    They will need to be financially numerate, project a strong presence internally and externally, ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations, and help develop strategic, long term solutions for the account.

    Job Qualifications:

    • You will be required to have experience working across ATL campaigns, including TV, Digital, Social and Print media.
    • 3+ years at Account Director Level
    • Experience working in or closely with creative agencies/teams is key, including experience with shoots and/or post-production.
    • Fantastic client servicing skills with a strong track record of building good relationships with clients
    • Passion for marketing production excellence with robust experience gained in all media asset production
    • Proactive, enthusiastic and bright individual, with a broad understanding of marketing production across channels and formats
    • Strong track record of building close client relationships at a senior level
    • Able to think strategically and analyze situations quickly and effectively
    • Confident people manager who understands the value of good employee engagement
    • Able to handle challenging situations and act appropriately, including managing disciplinary processes, performance and absence
    • Collaborative working style
    • Be financially numerate and able to manage a P&L well on an ongoing basis

    Responsibilities

    People Management

    • Manage individual and team performance within your client services team
    • Oversee activities across all teams involved in the production of work delivered to the client, engaging well and supporting these teams where necessary
    • Conduct feedback and appraisals for direct reports throughout the year
    • Ensure training of the team is up to date and opportunities identified to further develop team
    • Display strong leadership skills – ability to lead by example – acting as a role model to account management team
    • Step in as senior liaison to help troubleshoot internal and client issues
    • Conduct regular team reviews with the Group Account Director (GAD) and Business Director

    Client Relationship Building

    • Proactively and regularly keeps in touch with key senior clients
    • Initial point of content for client briefing
    • Develop a deep understanding of a client's business as well as their brands and their competitors
    • Establish high level of trust and credibility with clients
    • Strive to deliver service and knowledge beyond client's expectations
    • Manages client expectations, and proposes solutions to challenging situations
    • Seek to identify where and how Tag could further support the client with their marketing production needs, cross-selling our existing capabilities
    • Where necessary, work with your peers within other teams and regions to deliver services, and grow the scope of work delivered
    • Manage key agency partner relationships, ensuring Tag are engaged during creative and media planning processes
    • Focus on extending the client's knowledge of Tag's capabilities

    Account Management

    • Manage the team's workload, ensuring all internal and client facing reporting is accurate and up to date
    • Manage any downtime across the team effectively, so that it is used to build internal or external relationships or for training
    • Communicate effectively and regularly with GAD and all central shared service teams
    • Take ownership of any strategic briefs, ensuring strategic solutions are delivered against objectives
    • Receive any new campaigns briefed from client, ensuring relevant internal shared service teams are made aware
    • Support clients to understand Tag's wider production services and capability, and build processes that are agile and fulfill clients' requirements in a cost effective manner for the business
    • Coordinate with Tag Technology and ensure the platforms that Tag use for the development of assets for the client is fully maintained

    Financial Management

    • P&L management on a monthly basis, working with Finance to ensure all costs are allocated correctly and revenue is reported accurately
    • Working with GAD to grow the revenue and gross profit of the account
    • Proactively manage and follow up with clients on aged debt
    • Manage the ongoing WIP position, following up with the relevant teams where jobs are past material dates
    • Work with clients to understand any budgets they have for certain periods or projects, providing innovative solutions where possible, to enable Tag to support them within any budget constraints
    • Regular performance and finance reporting (particularly in the first 12 months) to track retainer utilisation, cost savings and sustainability
    • Guide team to ensure end-to-end financial control of projects is in place and adhered to constantly
