The post holder will provide a comprehensive, quality, confidential administration service to the Divisions and their team in support of the Service Manager.


A key requirement of the post is to proactively manage clinic bookings and appointments, including making recommendations and implementing any authorised changes to clinic templates to ensure best use of capacity and compliance with national targets.


The Clinic/Data Coordinator will be expected to organise their workload and co-ordinate their activities in conjunction with, and supervised by, the Support Manager to ensure that an efficient service is provided.


It is essential that the post holder is able to exercise initiative suitable to the role, and is fully supportive to other colleagues in the administrative team.


Provide a comprehensive administration service, including management of new referrals and demographics, registration of patients, analysis and housekeeping of appointment systems to maximise capacity, liasing with Divisions, etc.

Maintain constructive relationships with others, within and across Divisions and externally in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of services to patients,


Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a full range of hospital and community services for people across East Cheshire (population 399K) and West Cheshire and Chester (population 357K).

Be fully conversant with all required electronic systems for correspondence, clinic management and the retrieval of results, including obtaining information using the Internet,

Ensure that the case note tracking system is functioning correctly, and that case notes are available, complete, and fit for purpose,


Support the Division to analyse, and act on information to proactively manage and maintain relevant NHS targets, including profiling activity to ensure target requirements are met.
