    As a Development Tech Support Engineer you will be supporting our MESTEC division.

    You'll be at the forefront of client interaction, enhancing business support by leveraging your expertise to analyze code and identify bugs within the database.

    Your role involves delving into intricate software issues, utilizing SQL proficiency to extract and manipulate data, and writing scripts to streamline processes.

    Operating as the first point of contact for clients, you'll demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, swiftly resolving issues and ensuring seamless functionality.

    With a blend of technical acumen and exceptional communication, you'll elevate client satisfaction by providing comprehensive support tailored to their needs.

    What you will be doing :

    Support and maintain existing software and customer solutions – working to maintain target ticket backlog, issue response and resolution and ultimately customer satisfactionSpecifying, developing, and testing interfaces to third party systems – enabling efficient and effective on boarding of new customersProviding first and second line support to customersInterpret and analyse user requirementsWrite innovative, scalable, robust software solutions for our clientsWork closely with project managers, other implementation consultants, and sales and marketing professionals to seek out and identify opportunities for future expansionDesigning, implementing, and debugging database queries to solve real-world problemsSupporting project implementations from initial customer training through to post implementation support phaseBuild new screens, dashboards and user interfaces using the Mestec designerHelp drive improvements on the department's Measurable ObjectivesWhat you bring :Basic understanding of fundamental programming conceptsKnowledge or relevant experience with an object-oriented programming language such as C# (preferred), Java, Python, etcRight to work in the UKCherry on top :Experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in change control proceduresKnowledge of SQL or Oracle databasesWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationLearning and Development opportunitiesDynamic company culture25 days annual leaveHealth Insurance for Employee; 100% employer paidSalary sacrifice schemes5% employer pension contributionHiring Process Simplified : Phone Screen with Ria, our Sr.
