My client in
Londonis looking for an experienced
Band 5 Microbiology Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract.


Job Role:

  • 37.5 hrs p/w
  • Contributes to providing a professional laboratory service, working effectively as a team member as part of the overall department.
  • Able to perform all core scientific and interpretive work.
  • To develop and improve your professional expertise.
  • To supervise unqualified staff and deputise for section leaders when necessary.
  • Provides specialist clinical technical services that may include research and audit samples.
  • Able to work late lab shifts and weekends

Qualifications and Experience required:
-
HCPC registered as a BMS:

  • Knowledge of clinical microbiology and virology diagnostic and analytical laboratory techniques including automated technology
  • UK NHS based lab experience
