Systems Accountant - Oxford - £80,000 - Hybrid working (2 days in office) and flexible hours

The role will involveoverseeing and managing financial data and systems using Dynamics 365, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and Project Management Accounting.

The position will involve being a key figure in supporting the ERP implementation. This will involve business partnering to Finance, IT and HR.

The role of Systems Accountant will involve optimising areas of D365 accounting and financial reporting, D365 modules and other Company systems.

Training and supporting the wider finance group will also be required.
Continuously assess and improve financial processes within D365 to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Act as finance lead for all system enhancements and development activity; Support the delivery of configuration changes and review new system features.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and integrations.
• Ensure data integrity; Implement and enforce data integrity controls to maintain accurate financial records and perform regular audits to identify and address data discrepancies.
• Participate in and manage finance systems related projects.

Training and Support:

• Provide training to finance and other relevant teams on D365 functionalities.
• Documentation of process and refresher of training material to ensure users can resolve queries through self service
• Provide day-to-day operational support for finance systems users
• Design and generate financial reports using D365 reporting tools.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data for internal and external reporting.

Build relationships with finance colleagues across the UK and internationally.

• Oversight of controls over user access, security settings, and system configurations and workflows within D365 F&O and PMA.
