    Role Details

    Role: Marketing Executive

    Reports to: Commercial Director

    Salary: Up to £40,000

    Primary Purpose: Responsible for market development to increase the presence of PCML marketing across the entire product & services portfolio & identifying innovative ideas for the business, together with leading internal communications across multi-sites.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Development of strategically important markets / market analysis / engaging with new customers, offering lead generation & marketing support to the sales team
    • Market research & development plans, communicating trends & key benefits of moving into new markets providing creative direction to ultimately identify new customers.
    • Website development, customer-facing & promotional websites
    • Managing telemarketing or other such lead generation campaigns or email shots in order to target potential new markets & customers (B2B & OEMs)
    • Generate processes for intra as well as inter-company communications, provide company information to employees, across sites, to be consistent with business, product & brand communication strategies. This may include printed & digital communications.
    • Marketing/promotional activity presentation & positioning elevating the brand.
    • Develop a plan for social media, when appropriate, managing planned projects against tight deadlines
    • Write advertising, promotional & press release content as well as provide proofreading & editing of similar materials written by others.
    • Manage & organise exhibitions, attend sales meetings & trade shows as deemed necessary.
    • Be the first point-of-contact for local media inquiries. Write communications materials such as press releases & be familiar with tactics used in media planning & media crisis management (if necessary)
    • Keep stakeholders updated on project activity, risks, & opportunities. Keep up to date with marketing trends. Evaluate & present new tactics for consideration to be used in future strategies.
    • Implementation of a CRM system, using data to report to Commercial Director.

    Person Specification

    Essential Qualifications & Experience

    • Technical marketing experience of products & / or services
    • Digital marketing, experience of growing & developing a brand, an influencer across multi-media.
    • Able to use initiative to suggest improvements based on sound facts & logic ultimately promoting the voice of the customer (VOC)
    • Knowledgeable of multi-communications channels (inter & intra)
    • Ability to work well amid ambiguity & to prioritise tasks.
    • Results orientated, yet being detail conscious with strong oral, written communication & presentation skills, both internally & externally
    • Customer focussed & responsive with project management skills.
    • Commercially astute
    • Focus on delivery of activity & visible results.
    • Flexibility for domestic travel when necessary

    Desirable Qualifications & Experience

    • Ideally degree qualified in Marketing, or an academic achiever in either a business related or technical subject with evidence of product marketing training/qualifications such as CIM or working towards
    • Generalist marketing experience ideally having worked in a project-based manufacturing / solutions-based environment operating to world class methodologies and / or proven experience in marketing technical services.
    • Experience of re-designing websites, being naturally creative & innovative
    • Collaborating across multifunctional teams & an appreciation of stakeholder management
    • Capability to deliver reports to a high standard, knowledge of CRM systems would be advantageous.
