    Overview of Role
    The role of Operations Director is pivotal to the success of QPC Sales and Profit targets, and encompasses all key day to day operational functions, to include:

    • 3 PL Warehouse & Transport
    • Customer service / sales support
    • Merchandising
    • Supply chain
    • Technical
    The true nature of the role is one that manages "product" from production right the way through supply chain, and in turn is there to support the front line sales team in achieving their targets
    Principal Accountabilities
    3 PL Warehouse & Transport

    • Working with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth daily running of warehouse and transport functions
    • Safeguarding of 3,000+ pallets
    • Ensuring picking requirements and standards are met
    • Providing weekly rolling picking forecast
    • Enforcing the "no cost to Quest" policy
    • Ensuring Warehouse & distribution target of sub 4.5% of sales is achieved
    Customer Service / Sales support

    • Working with the Operations Manager to ensure sales & customers service departments are working together in a co-ordinated way
    • Processing and management of customer orders, minimising shortages, up selling to fill gaps, transfer of final pick list to warehouse
    • Ensuring customer invoices are raised as soon as possible
    • Creation and management of rolling monthly sales forecasts
    • Ensuring customer service level targets are met (%)75 days)
